I converted a golf bag into a bike pannier using the Bird of Prey and Shield.

I took it to the course today and it held up perfectly. The hardware was just perfect on my bike, it matched two screw holes so it's very very stable.

Universal Pannier has a great product but also exceptional customer service. I had some issues with the sizing of my pannier hooks and I emailed them; they quickly responded and sent me a new pair of pannier hooks which work perfectly.  This type of customer service is unprecedented. They are worth the price especially when you consider pannier backpacks can easily cost in the hundreds. The installation process was quick and easy.

Hi Kyle, I got a chance to use the hooks today on my bike commute.  I wanted to personally thank you for inventing these, they are remarkable and are now my favorite bike accessory!  The design is very rugged and the way the clip bends on the tip does really keep the hook on the rack nice and secure.

I installed them on an older Overland rear pannier.
They work great! I like the way they securely hold onto my rack rails.
 
They stay put despite the bumpy riding and then taking the panniers off is a cinch because of the way the clips flex.
